​Kundan Joshi, CEO of leading technology innovation firm​ TheAppLabb, is a finalist for the annual EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards, the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. The award ceremony will be held October 25, 2018 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, bringing together the most notable and innovative figures in the current Canadian business climate.

Kundan started his career as an engineer and took the leap to found a company based around the disruptive power of mobile. Over the years, TheAppLabb has undertaken hundreds of Digital Transformation projects for clients such as Hudson’s Bay, Samsung, Dell, RBC and Teknion, and helped them through strategy, design and development of transformative experiences with Apps, Artificial Intelligence and Mixed Reality.

TheAppLabb’s mission is to improve human experiences, while driving business outcomes for clients through technology innovation, and in the last 11 years, they have delivered over 500 apps through 8 global offices.

Kundan’s passion for creatively applied technology has helped him build TheAppLabb from a Toronto agency to an international company with offices in New York, Hong Kong and Silicon Valley. The EY Awards will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre at 222 Bremner Blvd, Toronto. The evening begins at 5:30 with a reception, with dinner and the awards ceremony following at 6:30.
